Each time I interact with one of the crops we grow, I write up a short essay in my Local Garden Newsletter (like sending an email except that you have to come get it), add a collage of pictures and send links to all my subscribers. Subscribers also receive notification of special sales where plants may be sold at 25% off the retail price and are notified when the plants are in bloom (because smart buyers "Buy it in bloom!"). Email me to tell me that you want to subscribe.
I use the common horticultural practice of making lists that define the uses that the plants I grow will be used for in your garden (each plant name in a list is a link to more information and pictures). Click here for a web page of links to the lists I have made (I make new ones all the time).
Plants with no numbers have not been propagated yet. Check the Links at bottom. Scroll down!

'Champlain (Taylor's Guides "Roses" Ondra, 122, zones 3-9), (Hk/4feet/double/red/3inches), (Garden; YF, AH), red explorer, 3x3, 2.5 inch flowers, I had placed one of these on my drip line and forgotten about it. Each year when I saw it it was blooming fine, though after several years it got sort of gangly which could be explained away by the half light it was in and never any fertilizer. Finally in the seventh year I took it and planted it in the soil and it died that winter. It had rooted through the bottom of the pot of course and so I probably shocked it terribly by pulling it out of the ground. But I cant help but think if I had left it in that horrible location in its pot it would still be alive today. (A+), hybrids include 'Simon Frazer',

I'm Andrew Van Cleve, chief grower at Azalea House Flowering Shrub Farm, and I grow flowering shrubs without fungicide to reveal truly disease resistant plants. I am providing time honored, proven shrubs that are disease resistant locally (I operate my operation as a niche market, in other words I propagate plants that most places wont have, we dont grow plants that our competitors have but plants that are hard to find locally, easy to propagate and generally tolerant of local conditions).
